Memories of the HMCS Rosthern

Last week the brother and son of Bill Easton: a former shipmate and friend from the HMCS Rosthern visited my father to reminisce about the ship board experience in WWII.   They brought their photo albums and other memorabilia.   You could say they met through the internet.  Unfortunately Dad's friend Bill had died quite some time ago, but his younger brother Jim was absolutely delighted to receive a phone call from a buddy of his brother from such a long time ago.  It turns out that my Dad being a shipboard photographer had developed many of the pictures in their albums !

Here are my photos from this reunion.
