Red Cliffs of PEI Fine Art Print

$525.00

September 2023. We'd been camping on PEI for a few days when the dogs found the cliffs before I did.
It was around six in the evening. The fog had been sitting on the water all day. They went right to the edge — the way dogs do, no hesitation — and stood there looking out at something I couldn't see yet.

We walked along the top for a while before we figured out how to get down. And then there it was — that red. I'd never seen sand that colour before. Iron red, ancient, the same shade as the cliffs above it. The whole coastline stained with it, disappearing into the fog.

The cliffs at the edge of Prince Edward Island, slowly returning to the sea. The land here is always in the process of becoming something else.

This photograph is printed on Hahnemühle fine art paper with a white border and is available as a Limited Edition Fine Art Print.

Print is 15 × 20” - Edition of 10 $525

All prints are hand signed by the artist, numbered and are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity with a matching hologram.

Larger Sizes also available. (Please enquire.)
